“singer zangerle” have known each other for a long time. You can hear it. Long-standing partners in numerous bands (Memplex, Sweet & Lovely…) they first performed as a duo in 2019 at the Celeste in Vienna. The response was warm enough that they decided to keep going and explore what the format of double bass and saxophone could do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The result is a program that connects free improvisation with composition. The music draws on lyrical, minimalist and static sounds. Unexpected turns make sure the melancholy doesn’t get too heavy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
